Karabakh horses, considered one of the most ancient horse breeds, are a symbol of the
national heritage of the Azerbaijani people. Horse breeding has been practiced in
Azerbaijan since ancient times. Today, there are more than 400 horse breeds in the world,
two of which — the Karabakh and Dilbaz breeds — are raised in our country.
Karabakh horses are distinguished not only by their beauty and elegance but also by their
agility and remarkable speed.
